The time has come for Denise, our Interim Priest, to return to her home and serve at another church.   She has led us through a year of learning who we are as a church family.  And, she has suggested ways for us to grow spiritually and in many other ways.  My personal thanks to you, Denise.

As most of you already know, I shall not be able to be with you next fall as your deacon.   Life changes have made it necessary for me to remain in Tennessee.  However, I shall be visiting from time to time and expect to hear LOUD ALLELUIAs.

 

Many changes have been, are, and will be happening for the community, which is St. Hilary's.   It is a time of restlessness, excitement, concern, and anticipation.

Each month, the St. Hilary's Women's Book Group meets to talk about fiction and non-fiction with a religious or spiritual bent. In May, we will discuss Secrets of Eden by Chris Bohjalian. Safeguarding God's Children training is required for all vestry members, clergy,  and staff of the parish, as well as eucharistic visitors and those persons who work with children and youth. This training is mandated by the Episcopal Diocese of Southwest Florida. Read more ...
